A Personal Website for Alicia Montgomery
I built this website to showcase my web development skills and carve out a small space on the internet for everything that interests me.
I started by designing the website from scratch, building it line-by-line, and deploying it on the web.
This project reiterated the importance of the fundamentals and how to deploy a project from start to finish.

Created an embedded system to classify moth species
During my undergraduate degree, I had a year-long thesis project on a team of 3. We created a Moth Classifier, an embedded system that would take pictures of moths and classify their species.
I was responsible for the design and implementation of the embedded system. I used a Raspberry Pi and several Python libraries to create an automated camera system to take pictures of moths and send them to an AWS database.
This project taught me how to effectively take a project from start to finish and work as a team.
